Welcome to CRUISEHOST
Dear Valued Customer,
Welcome to CRUISEHOST Solutions!
My name is Matteo Fischer, Senior Project Manager at CRUISEHOST, and I will be your primary contact throughout your implementation project.
From planning and coordination to the successful launch of your cruise booking platform, I'll work closely with you and your team to ensure that every milestone is completed smoothly and on schedule.
Should you have any questions during the project, please don't hesitate to contact me at projects@cruisehost.net.
We are delighted to have you on board and look forward to building something exceptional together.
Your Project Journey
Our shared goal is simple:
To successfully launch your new CRUISEHOST-powered cruise booking website / b2b Booking solution.
Your project will begin no later than next Monday.
To help everything run efficiently, we've prepared a structured onboarding process that guides you through each step.
Once you log into the CRUISEHOST Administration System, you'll find your personal project dashboard, where you can:
• Follow the progress of your implementation
• View current project milestones
• Discover new CRUISEHOST features and products
• Complete your personalised onboarding tasks
Your Website Setup
As part of the initial implementation we will create the foundation of your new cruise website within PAGEMAKER CMS.
This includes:
• Setting up your CRUISEC booking environment
• Creating your website structure
• Installing our standard 8-page website template
• Designing and configuring your website header and footer
• Applying your company logo and corporate colours
Matching Your Existing Website
Our goal is to make your CRUISEHOST website feel like a natural extension of your existing online presence.
There are two possible approaches:
Option 1 – We recreate your existing design
Using the capabilities of PAGEMAKER CMS, we reproduce the look and feel of your current website as closely as possible.
Option 2 – Your web designer provides the design
If you require a more customised appearance, your web designer can either:
• extract the header and footer from your existing website so they can be integrated into CRUISEHOST, or
• design completely new header and footer elements specifically for your CRUISEHOST website.
Why PAGEMAKER CMS?
CRUISEHOST is not a traditional web design or marketing agency.
Our expertise lies in providing the industry's most comprehensive cruise content, booking technology and automation platform.
PAGEMAKER CMS was developed to solve one of the biggest challenges in the cruise industry: managing dynamic cruise offers directly within your website.
The combination of:
• PAGEMAKER CMS
• CRUISEC Booking Engine
• PANEL ADMIN
creates a unique all-in-one solution that combines website management, cruise content and real-time booking technology.
Once your implementation is complete, you'll receive full access to PAGEMAKER CMS so you can easily maintain and expand your own website content.
Multiple Languages
If your subscription includes multiple languages, your first implementation will initially be completed in English.
Once the first language has been finalised, we will:
• create an additional Agency ID for each further language,
• copy all relevant system settings,
• duplicate your complete PAGEMAKER website,
• allowing you to simply translate and adapt the content rather than rebuilding the site.
This significantly reduces implementation time for additional languages.
Feature Availability
Depending on your subscription and implementation model, some areas of the system may not be available.
This may be because:
• you are working through a HOST AGENT, where many settings are centrally managed, or
• your current subscription does not include certain optional modules.
If you have any questions regarding available features or future upgrades, simply contact us at sales@cruisehost.net or ask directly within your onboarding project.
We're always happy to help.

Working with CRUISEHOST – A Few Simple Guidelines
To help us continue providing the exceptionally fast response times you are used to, we kindly ask you to take a minute to read the following guidelines on how to communicate most effectively with the CRUISEHOST team.
1. Which Email Address Should I Use?
Our ticket system automatically processes emails sent to any of the following addresses:
• support@cruisehost.net
• projects@cruisehost.net
• sales@cruisehost.net
Please send your email to only one of these addresses.
There is no need to copy multiple CRUISEHOST email addresses. Every email reaches the same ticket system, and sending duplicates simply creates additional manual work as we have to identify and remove duplicate tickets before processing them.
2. The Subject Line – The Most Important Part of Your Email
A well-written subject line allows our system to identify you and automatically attach your message to the correct support thread.
Every subject line should contain:
• Your CRUISEHOST Agency ID
• A short and meaningful description of your request
Example:
123456 – MSC Pricing Issue
Please avoid generic subjects such as:
• Help
• Problem
• Urgent
• Question
If you change the subject line during an ongoing discussion, our system assumes it is a completely new request and creates a new ticket. This separates the conversation from its history, making it more difficult for both you and our support team.
Whenever possible, keep the original subject line when replying to an existing conversation.
3. Forwarding Emails
Please do not simply forward emails to one of our support addresses.
Our ticket system cannot reliably process forwarded messages, which means important information may not be visible to us.
Instead, please:
• Copy the relevant content from the forwarded email.
• Paste it directly into the body of your new email.
The same applies when replying to one of our previous emails.
Please do not edit an earlier email and assume we can "see below." Our ticket system only processes the content contained in the current message, so please include all relevant information directly in your reply.
4. Configuration Changes
If you require changes to your configuration or system settings, please send your request before 1:00 PM (CET) whenever possible.
This allows us to implement the changes on the same day. Some configuration updates require overnight processing within our production environment, so requests received later may not become effective until the following business day.
5. Reporting Errors
To investigate an issue as quickly as possible, please include the following information:
• Cruise Line
• Ship
• Departure Date
• Expected fare or tariff
• Screenshots (only in English)
• A brief description of the issue
The more information you provide, the faster we can locate and resolve the problem.
6. Missing or Outdated Fares
During fare updates, you may temporarily see fares that appear outdated or notice that some new fares are not yet visible.
This is completely normal.
While new fares are being imported, the previous fare set remains available until it is removed later in the day.
If you perform an availability check on one of these older fares, the cruise line will simply return that the fare is no longer available. This does not affect bookings or cause any issues within the system.
Thank You
By following these simple guidelines, you help us maintain the fast, efficient, and personal support that CRUISEHOST is known for.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and look forward to continuing to provide you with the highest level of service.
